PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Glass-ceramic aesthetics for carefully selected restorations.

Lithium disilicate is a glass-ceramic material often selected for its optical appearance and ability to support adhesive restorative strategies. Depending on the approved material system and clinical indication, it may be considered for anterior crowns, selected posterior crowns and partial-coverage restorations.

Its strength, translucency, preparation geometry and bonding requirements differ from zirconia. A more translucent restoration may reveal the colour of the underlying tooth or abutment, so the stump shade and intended luting approach should be part of the case discussion before manufacturing.

WHAT SETS THIS PRODUCT APART
  • Natural-looking light transmission is a central design consideration.
  • Available material opacity and translucency should match stump colour and final shade goals.
  • Preparation, restoration thickness, surface treatment and cementation are system-dependent.
