PRODUCT OVERVIEW

A strong zirconia core with more room for artistic detail.

Layered zirconia combines a zirconia framework with hand-applied veneering ceramic in selected visible areas. It is particularly relevant when anterior tooth character, depth of colour and customised incisal effects matter more than an entirely monolithic surface.

The interface between core and ceramic makes the layering design important. Framework support, porcelain thickness and functional contacts must be planned carefully; dentists may prefer more monolithic anatomy in heavy-contact zones while reserving layering for the aesthetic surfaces.

WHAT SETS THIS PRODUCT APART
  • Designed to combine a zirconia substructure with individually built aesthetic surfaces.
  • Useful when texture, translucency gradients and incisal character are important to the final appearance.
  • Framework design and occlusion need to account for the possibility of porcelain chipping.
