PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The familiar metal–ceramic solution for predictable fixed work.

Porcelain-fused-to-metal restorations use a cast or digitally produced metal substructure covered with veneering porcelain. This traditional construction remains useful for a broad range of crowns and selected bridge designs, especially where clinicians value an established workflow and a defined alloy choice.

PFM differs from all-ceramic restorations in its metal framework, masking behaviour and the way cervical margins and available space affect aesthetics. A ceramic shoulder or carefully planned margin may be requested for visible regions, while occlusal and connector designs remain central to function.

WHAT SETS THIS PRODUCT APART
  • Metal framework supports a porcelain aesthetic surface.
  • Alloy family, metal exposure, margin type and shade are important ordering decisions.
  • Often discussed for routine bridge work when conventional preparation and laboratory workflows are preferred.
